Bishop David Zubik has appointed Jonathan Cuniak as Regional Administrator for the Pittsburgh-East Regional Catholic Elementary Schools (PERCES), Inc. Cuniak has served as interim administrator since October 2021. The appointment is effective May 2, 2022.
Bishop David Zubik will offer Holy Week liturgies at St. Paul Cathedral and several other parishes beginning with Palm Sunday on April 9-10, and culminating with the celebration of Easter on April 16-17. Participants are also welcome via livestream from the cathedral and parishes.

Overall, the Bishop’s recovery time remains the same as anticipated: his left arm will be incapacitated for approximately six weeks with a view to full recovery within six to eight months, assisted by regular physical therapy.
Bishop Zubik will be undergoing surgery this coming Monday, February 21. The surgery is scheduled to repair a significant tear in his left shoulder and will take place at UPMC Mercy.
