The Parish Center project, which has been in the planning stages for a number of years, is now becoming a reality!  The newly designed and renovated center is intended to increase community engagement by offering a meeting place for the parish and local community, provide a location for an after-school youth faith formation program and provide a social hall for Parish gatherings, receptions and other activities.  

• Parishioners had a place to celebrate life’s biggest moments?
• Children had a place to begin their lifelong journey in faith?
• Community and diverse groups had a comfortable place to gather?
• Community engagement led to increased participation in the church?

Right now, engagement is one of the biggest challenges facing the Church – especially with millennials. Church participation is down significantly. Sadly, a growing number of younger people have no religious affiliation. Our center provides us the opportunity to offer an alternate view of the Church working in the community. 

Estimated project costs are $4.0M.  The good news is that through the generosity of a number of donors, we have raised $2.2M.  We aim to raise the remaining $1.8M through a vigorous fundraising campaign that will begin this Spring and run for a year.   This is a massive undertaking and we’ll need to work together to make this happen.  The Center’s future is dependent on your support, donations and time.
